Konecta and ASAN’AI: Empowering Madagascar’s future through AI and digital excellence

Konecta has solidified its role as a strategic partner in ASAN’AI, a major national initiative designed to transform Madagascar’s professional landscape. This program focuses on equipping local talent with high-demand skills in Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Customer Experience, ensuring the workforce is ready for the rapidly evolving digital economy.

The ASAN’AI project is a powerful Public-Private Partnership developed in collaboration with the World Bank and the Malagasy government. By bringing together multiple national ministries and key industry players through the GPRC (Groupement des Professionnels de la Relation Clients), the initiative creates an ecosystem where training is directly aligned with the real-world requirements of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector.

Beyond training: A guaranteed career path

For Konecta, the value of ASAN’AI lies in its focus on active employability rather than just theoretical schooling. This is a structured pipeline into the professional world, where the curriculum is specifically designed to meet current market standards. This ensures that the 1,300 young talents participating in the program move seamlessly from their certified training into sustainable roles within the industry.

By co-designing these training pathways, Konecta ensures that learners gain mastery over the exact tools and AI integrations used in modern customer experience management. This approach eliminates the gap between academic learning and professional expectations, providing participants with a clear and direct route to long-term employment.

Strengthening the digital ecosystem

ASAN’AI is part of a broader vision to build a more inclusive and resilient professional environment in Madagascar. Supported by the World Bank, the program offers more than just technical instruction; it provides a foundation for long-term career growth through several key pillars:

  • Professional certification: Graduates receive formal recognition from the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, validating their expertise.
  • Specialized skill sets: The curriculum is centered on AI data annotation, digital literacy, and multichannel CX management - skills that are in high demand globally.
  • Economic resilience: By investing in local expertise, the initiative drives responsible growth and enhances the country's collective digital infrastructure.

Commitment to local talent and global standards

Konecta’s participation in this alliance reflects a deep commitment to social impact and education. By fostering local expertise, we are not only supporting the growth of our own operations but also contributing to the overall competitiveness of Madagascar as a premier destination for global digital services.

This collaboration stands as a testament to what can be achieved when the public sector, international financial institutions like the World Bank, and private industry leaders unite to invest in the potential of the youth.
