Guided by the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) of UN Women, we decided to certify in this Law, marking a milestone as the FIRST private company to obtain this certification in the province of Cordoba.
Named in honor of Micaela García, a femicide victim, the Micaela Law establishes gender and gender violence training to denaturalize violence against women and the LGBTI+ population. This step reinforces our commitment to Zero Tolerance for all types of violence.
The virtual training program in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion addresses crucial topics ranging from gender identity and unconscious biases to sexual diversity and harassment prevention. This comprehensive program aims to raise awareness and educate our professionals on fundamental concepts to foster inclusive work environments.
With the support of a specialized partner and the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Women of the Province of Cordoba, we implemented asynchronous training on our DidactiK! educational platform, concluding this phase with a reflective in-person meeting with Claudia Martínez, the Minister of Women of the Government of Cordoba in Argentina. She formally recognized our commitment to certification and actions to create safe, inclusive, and diverse workplaces.
The training is now open to all positions, from leaders and managers to directors and staff analysts. Next year, we will open the program to representatives, with a long-term approach, releasing the content module by module to facilitate seamless completion.
At Konecta, we believe that change starts from within. We are committed to building a safer, more equitable, and enriching future of work for all.
Together, we move towards a better and more inclusive Konecta!
