As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, Konecta continues to invest in reforestation initiatives that contribute to the protection and regeneration of vital ecosystems around the world. Following our support of the Saving the Amazon project, which focused on preserving rainforest biodiversity and empowering Indigenous communities, we have taken further action in 2025 with a local reforestation activity in Antolojanahary, Madagascar.
The initiative brought together 90 Konecta volunteers, united by a shared commitment to environmental responsibility. Over the course of the day, the team planted 1,000 trees, contributing directly to the regeneration of local ecosystems and the protection of Madagascar’s rich biodiversity. This hands-on effort reflects Konecta’s belief that positive impact begins with small actions taken by people.
The project was carried out in collaboration with Bondy, an organization dedicated to ecological restoration and sustainable development. Thanks to their local expertise, the reforestation effort was not only effective, but also respectful of the area’s environmental and social context.
Active across Madagascar and beyond, Bondy works to regenerate degraded land, foster biodiversity, and support communities through sustainable land stewardshi
This initiative was an opportunity for employees to connect with nature, step out of their daily routines and engage directly in a project that aligns with Konecta’s long-term vision of corporate social responsibility and sustainable growth.
