Konecta has reaffirmed its people strategy, a global human resources framework designed to strengthen commitment, well-being, and a genuine sense of belonging across all its teams. At the heart of this strategy lies a simple but powerful belief: diversity is a source of value, innovation, and resilience, one that reflects the richness of Konecta’s global identity.
From this perspective, the company invests in policies and initiatives that ensure every person feels recognized, supported, and represented. Konecta actively promotes a culture of equal opportunities, working to build environments where individuals of different backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences can contribute and grow.
Within this commitment, the inclusion of people with disabilities stands as a core strategic pillar, not only because it reflects the company’s values, but because it contributes directly to talent development, team strength, and the Group’s sustainable success.
Across the Group, Konecta has introduced several initiatives that have enabled the integration of people with disabilities into different roles and countries. Among these, we highlight three impactful programs implemented in Colombia, the Czech Republic, and Peru.
In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Konecta PRO is more than a social enterprise, it’s a place where people with disabilities thrive professionally and personally. Established in 2019, it currently employs 98 colleagues with disabilities, who benefit from tailored support, flexible work arrangements, and personalized training.
Over 70% of Konecta PRO’s customer center workforce consists of people with disabilities or health disadvantages. Many have progressed into sales and leadership roles, demonstrating how inclusion drives individual performance and team success.
Konecta PRO also reinvests 50% of its profits directly into employee development, funding additional training, workplace improvements, accessibility enhancements, and well-being programs. This creates a cycle of continuous growth and empowerment that strengthens both people and the broader community.
Since 2012, Konecta in Peru has been a pioneer in inclusive employment within the customer experience sector, integrating more than 250 people with disabilities into roles from customer service to leadership positions.
Through its DEI-driven approach, we ensure accessibility at every stage, from recruitment to professional development. Workstations are adapted, technology is inclusive, and colleagues receive continuous training in empathy, communication, and diversity. Partnerships with organizations such as CONADIS and OMAPED further ensure that every employment opportunity is meaningful, fair, and supportive.
"Every colleague brings unique value, and our mission is to provide the tools, support, and environment for them to thrive professionally and personally."
Leyla Begazo, Talent Management Director at Konecta in Peru
In Colombia, Konecta has developed a model for integrating people with visual disabilities into customer service roles. By combining assistive technology such as JAWS, adapted systems, and ongoing training, our colleagues reach full productivity within three months.
Strategic partnerships with INCI, Ágora, CAFAM, and EFI support recruitment, training, and professional growth, while KPIs and continuous monitoring ensure accessibility remains a priority. This approach goes beyond compliance and it creates real impact for individuals and the organization, fostering innovation and team diversity.
Across continents, Konecta proves that disability inclusion is both a social responsibility and a business advantage. By combining accessible technology, tailored support, inclusive leadership, and meaningful partnerships, we create workplaces where everyone can succeed.
