Konecta in Argentina continues to make a meaningful social impact by supporting Ronald McDonald House’s Wellbeing Unit, a program dedicated to comforting families whose children are hospitalized with serious medical conditions.
Since April 2025, over 50 Konecta volunteers have participated in this initiative at two public hospitals: Hospital Humberto Notti in Mendoza and Hospital de la Santísima Trinidad in Córdoba.
Volunteers visit four hospitalization areas per hospital, offering breakfast to parents and caregivers during the early hours of the morning — a moment when families are often waiting for medical updates about their children. These small gestures of kindness offer emotional support and, in many cases, provide the only meal of the day for families in vulnerable situations.
Konecta’s participation is consistent and structured: volunteers rotate every two weeks, with small teams active all year round. More than 140 hours of volunteering have been contributed in 2025 alone.
“Being part of the Wellbeing Unit is not just about volunteering — it's about standing beside people when they need it most. Offering a warm drink or a kind word may seem simple, but in these moments, they carry profound meaning.”
Lucía Lorenzatti, Head of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, Konecta in Argentina.
By joining this initiative, Konecta reinforces its long-term commitment to community engagement and people-first impact where it truly matters.
