During the 2025 Global Offshoring Summit in Cairo, which took place on November 9 and 10, Nourdine Bihmane, CEO of Konecta, joined executives from leading global companies to discuss the future of outsourcing, digital services, and AI-driven delivery hubs.
At the summit, Nourdine Bihmane participated in the “Global Executive Dialogue: The Future of Global Delivery Hubs” with other key players in the global industry, and he outlined Konecta’s strategic roadmap for digital acceleration and highlighted Egypt’s central role in the company’s expansion across the Middle East and Africa.
Earlier this year, Konecta formalized its commitment to Egypt by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). During the Summit, Nourdine Bihmane reinforced this collaboration in a roundtable with H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, strengthening Egypt's position as a global center for CX and IT offshoring.
Egypt now hosts Konecta’s AI Competence Center, developed with Uniphore, within its operations center. In January 2026, a new global delivery hub in Cairo will open, becoming a cornerstone of Konecta’s global network and welcoming a leading technology company as its inaugural client.
"Egypt represents the next frontier in our AI-powered global delivery model. With an exceptional pool of local talent, strategic partnerships, and government support, we’re building a blueprint for responsible, scalable, and human-centered digital operations."
Nourdine Bihmane, CEO of Konecta
Konecta’s presence in the region continues to grow, with operations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, supported by a team of 300 professionals delivering services in more than 30 languages. This expansion is part of a broader $100 million investment plan over the next three years to accelerate Konecta’s AI and digital transformation agenda.
